Daily Affirmation

"I am in full bloom. My gifts, my desires, and my sacred fire are welcome in this world — and the world is made more beautiful by my presence within it."

Today's Gratitude

Today's Gratitude

On this Beltane morning, we pause to notice the exquisite abundance already present. Today, offer gratitude for the body that carries you — its warmth, its breath, its extraordinary capacity for pleasure and sensation. The earth is dancing with life right now in every petal, every blade of grass pushing upward. And so are you. You are made of the same insistent, blooming aliveness.

Beltane Fire Breath & Heart Opening

A seven-breath candle ritual to soften what is held tight and welcome the fullness of this sacred fire festival into your body.

  • Find a quiet space and light a candle — red, orange, or white. Let the flame become your altar.
  • Place both hands over your heart. Feel its steady, patient rhythm. This is your inner fire, always burning.
  • Inhale slowly through the nose for 4 counts, imagining warm golden light filling your chest completely.
  • Hold for 4 counts, letting that light expand and soften any places that feel held tight or defended.
  • Exhale through the mouth with a gentle, audible sigh — release what no longer serves your blossoming.
  • Repeat 7 times, letting each breath carry you deeper into your own warmth.
  • Close by whispering: "I am open. I am alive. I am enough."

Journal Prompt

Journal Prompt

Beltane is the season of sacred union — the meeting of inner and outer worlds, of longing and fulfillment. Ask yourself gently today:

What part of myself have I been keeping hidden — perhaps out of fear, perhaps out of a belief that she is too much — that is ready to step into the light? What would it feel like to let her bloom fully, unapologetically, right now?

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."

Invoking Flora, Goddess of Flowers & May

Today we call upon Flora — Roman goddess of spring, flowers, and the sacred flourishing of all living things. She governs the space between bud and bloom, and reminds us that beauty is not ornamental — it is divine purpose. On Beltane, her energy is at its peak, woven into every opening petal.

For your altar or sacred space: Gather fresh flowers, a pink or green candle, and something that represents a dream you are tending. Roses, hawthorn, or any flower in bloom are especially potent today.

"Flora, blessed goddess, I open the gates of my inner garden. May what has lain dormant now rise toward the light. May what I love flourish. So it is."

What burns tonight, clears

The Full Moon in Scorpio on Beltane is a convergence that happens rarely — fire festival and water sign, peak celebration and peak depth, the wild outdoor joy of May and the alchemical darkness of transformation. Tonight is a night for writing what you are releasing on paper and giving it to flame. The Beltane fire receives it. The Scorpio moon transmutes it. What you let go tonight will not come back in the same form.
